Abjis - Abjis is a common disease that is transmitted through the handling of ordinary molds and fungi or by the attack of a reaper. The disease takes some time to incubate and symptoms began to display themselves within 48 to 72 hours. Symptoms include the yellowing of a person's skin and mild dizziness. The illness affects the victim's reflexes, temporarily reducing the person's awareness score. A reduced awareness can affect a person's DV1 modifiers, as well as her chance of searching. In most cases (80%), people suffering from abjis lose 1d2 points of awareness but in some cases (15%) a person can lose between 1d4+1 points. In the most extreme cases (5%), sufferers of abjis can temporarily lose 2d4 points of awareness. The disease is not life threatening but remains in the victim's bloodstream until healed by use of an alchemist's herbal tea or via magical spells.
Amnesix - Amnesix is a disease transmitted through contact with brown mold. The disease affects the victim's mind and over time it causes permanent damage. The victim is entitled to make a 3d6 stamina check against disease to avoid its detrimental effects. If failed, the victim loses 1d4% per day from a random percentage or leveled skill that it is proficient in. If left untreated, the illness will dissipate after 2d4 weeks. The alchemic creation, memory wrap, as well as magical spells can cure this disease.
Apathy - This illness is caused by the bite of a walking dead. The disease, apathy, causes extreme fatigue. Within 4d4 minutes of contact, the victim's speed score is reduced to 0 and the victim is unable to defend itself for a period of 24 hours. Victims are entitled to a 3d6 stamina check against disease to avoid the effects of the illness. Apathy can be cured through magical means. No herbal remedies have been created so far.
Bog Rash - Bog rash is a common disease that affects people who are regularly exposed to stagnant marsh water. The disease's symptoms, which appear as sores and welts on affected skin, can be detected within six hours of contact. The ailment causes irritability, and reduces the victim's focus on even the simplest of tasks. People afflicted with bog rash are unable to use any type of skill (basic, percentage, or leveled). Bog rash lasts for 2d4 days but can be cured quickly through the use of magical spells.
Constriction - Constriction is a disease that is often transmitted through the attacks of reapers and ticks. The disease affects the muscular tissue of both humanoid and animal. Symptoms, which occur within 1d6x10 minutes of contact, include tightness of the muscles and shortness of breath. When contracted, the most often (90%) reduces the victim's speed rating by 1d2 and their dexterity characteristic by 1d6. Loss of speed results in slower movement while lose of dexterity may reduce a victim's attack value. Sometimes (10%), the disease is more detrimental and reduces a victim's speed by 1d2+1 and its dexterity by 2d4. If a victim's speed score is reduced to 0, the victim is immobile and must be carried. The effects of the disease will dissipate without any medical intervention. Most of the time this takes a period of 1d4 days but there are incidents where the disease will linger 2d6 days if left untreated. The herbal remedy, green tea, or magical spells can cure the disease at an accelerated rate.
