Monkeys are small primates about one foot in height. They weigh only a few pounds. Their hair can be light brown, orange, or black. They have small hands and tiny fangs. Monkeys are excellent at climbing (100%) and can make leaps of four to five feet without fail. They are cowardly and run from aggressors.
They prefer to hide in trees and throw objects (nuts, sticks, etc.) at predators. These objects do not inflict damage. If cornered, a monkey will defend itself with its tiny bite. This attack inflicts 1 point of damage.
Monkeys are good problem solvers and can fashion crude tools and implements.
These animals live in jungles and forests. They eat fruits and nuts. Groups between two and fifty have been spotted, with an equal distribution of males, females, and young. Male and female monkeys have the same general characteristics. Young monkeys have one-half the health of an adult monkey and cannot fight.
